Originally from up north (born in Ohio, raised in Wisconsin), Pastor Caleb Free came to Risen Savior after serving 3 years as the Pastor of Abiding Word Lutheran Church in Dothan, AL. Prior to serving in Dothan, Pastor Free completed a Masters of Divinity degree from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. His pastoral education included a year-long internship at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Verona, WI, and work in the original languages of the Bible. He also holds an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN.

Pastor Free is married to his lovely wife, Kristin, and they are blessed with three children: Clay, Aaron and JoJo. He enjoys anything to do with watching (or playing) sports, especially football and golf.
