Dear Risen Savior Family,
We are delighted to share the latest updates from Risen Savior Academy! November was a month filled with growth, gratitude, and community engagement as our students continue to flourish in faith and learning.
Academy News & Highlights
- Education Weekend Success: Our Kindergarten and 1st-grade students enriched our worship services by singing multiple songs during the Saturday and Sunday services. They also showcased their school projects, and our staff opened the classrooms to share the exciting things they are teaching our students.
- Enrollment for 2025-2026: On November 1st, we opened enrollment for Kindergarten, 1st-grade, and 2nd-grade for the 2025-2026 school year to our current families. We are thrilled to announce that 19 Risen Savior families have enrolled their children into our Kindergarten program! Enrollment opened to the community on December 1st.

Key Events and Service Projects
- Book Character Day: Our elementary students celebrated Halloween week with Book Character Day, showcasing their creativity through costumes inspired by their favorite book characters.
- Veterans Day Tribute: Students honored Veterans Day by sharing pictures of loved ones who served in the military and creating a beautiful, patriotic display of artwork. We were also honored to have Mr. Coleman, a former Marine and RSA parent, visit the Kindergarten classroom to share his experiences.
- Baptism Celebration: We rejoiced as Olivia Sukay, one of our Kindergarten students, and her brother Eli Sukay, a Preschool student, received the sacrament of baptism by Pastor Free.
Student Achievements & Milestones
- Chapel Performance: On November 15th, our 1st-grade students joyously sang their praises to God during our Chapel service.
- Expressions of Gratitude: Our 1st-grade students shared what they are thankful for and presented these reflections to the class, fostering a spirit of gratitude.
- Preschool Thanksgiving Songs: Our Preschool students sang for the Thanksgiving service, bringing joy to the congregation with their heartfelt performances.
